HallowZOOeen at the Tulsa Zoo

HallowZOOeen

Going to HallowZOOeen at the Tulsa Zoo has become an annual tradition for our family.  With the haunted house, haunted train ride, festive decor for all ages to enjoy, and enough treats to make ten trick-or-treaters happy, it’s a great stop for Halloween family fun.

Here’s more description from the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum:

The Tulsa Zoo will put on a costume of its own this Halloween as it transforms into a spooky but not-too-scary trick-or-treating wonderland. HallowZOOeen is nightly from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, October 27th- 31st, so you can start trick-or-treating early, or make it your Halloween evening destination.

The Tulsa Zoo provides a safe trick-or-treating environment, with corporate-sponsored “Goblin Stops” to fill up your kiddos’ goodie bags – and with over 3 tons of candy, there will be plenty of treats. If you’ve got a brave little boy or ghoul, have them take a journey through our Haunted House, and your seaworthy sprouts can take the helm of a one-of-a-kind Pirate Ship. The whole family will enjoy the “Pumpkin Patch Playroom”, with a Hay Maze, clowns and carnival games. And no trip is complete without a Haunted Train Ride for only $4, where there are spooky surprises around every turn, or take a spin on the Cross-Eyed Carousel for only $1. To capture the moment, stop by to snap a pic of your little goblins at the Walgreen’s free photo booth.

Here are some pictures from this year’s HallowZOOeen – treat stands, cool signs and decor, and my favorite part was the ghost ship (though the photos don’t really do it justice):
